Hair Fall


I am 44 year old and recently experiencing start of menopause. From last 2-3 months I am having severe hairfall though I try to have balance diet including protein and salads as much as possible.

I have a tendency of constipation, hence I take 2 triphla capsules (organic India) and chia seeds regularly. Please help.

Taking proteins and salads is good, but make sure you consume whole grains also (like oats, brown rice, barley, quinoa etc) as they contain essential vitamins and minerals required by the body. Include soybeans, soya milk, tofu as much as you can. For your condition, it is important that you take flaxseeds (10 grams) on a daily basis, use cold pressed oils like coconut/ olive/ almond/ avocado oil for cooking. Practise pranayama and yoga at least 5 times a week.
