A diet high in fiber, proteins and anti-inflammatory foods (fruits, vegetables, seeds) help to manage PCOS.
Include oats, barley, ragi, whole wheat, quinoa, buckwheat in cereals and grains. Egg, chicken, fish, paneer, tofu, soya, lentils, legumes in proteins. At least 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be there in a day.
One must completely avoid sweetened juices, sugary foods, starchy vegetables, refined flour and things made from refined flour.
Apart from sesame seeds, you can take Shatavari, flaxseeds, cinnamon, turmeric also. An ayurvedic doctor can tell you the dosage and time of these.
