Hello ma’am,
I am a patient with PROUD and also thyroid.
I have put on weight which is obvious.
But I am very uncomfortable with my weight and inches i have put on.
I have been trying very hard to get a better health and figure but it’s quite difficult.
Would you please suggest me something helping. I feel very much heavier.

Hello! Ideally, you should email us the details and we can assist you after taking the detailed history. However, for the general information update, we can share some concepts and health tips.
Considering that you have two conditions PROUD (which is rare and linked to the X-Chromosome) and thyroid (which I am assuming means hypothyroid and not hyper) so the hormones are likely to get impacted hence the following tips may help you:
- Consuming natural foods which improve hormone production like nuts and oilseeds, organic fruits, vegetables and dals. You should also consume more of millets and reducing wheat and rice.
- Taking Coconut water, 1 teaspoon coconut oil, seaweed supplements, Himalayan salt
- Natural Sunlight exposure in the morning and if possible 30 minutes of Yoga daily (Sunlight has a positive on the Hypothalamic-Pituitary axis and Yoga strengthens the spinal cord and muscles)
- Avoiding foods which can imbalance the hormones like regular or nonorganic dairy, meat products (have Oxytocin impact), sugary foods, processed and fast foods
Herbs that will be helpful in Hypothyroid are Kanchnar guggul, Brahmi Vati and Trikatu Powder.
