Grilled Tofu

Grilled Tofu (100 g) with Saute bell peppers, onions and Zucchini

Serving Size:  1

Time of Preparation:  15 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Tofu: 100 g
  2. Lemon Juice 10 ml
  3. Bell peppers 30 g
  4. Onion 30 g
  5. Zucchini 30 g
  6. Olive Oil 5 g
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Black pepper powder 2 g
  9. Red chili powder 2 g
  10. Garlic 2 whole

 

Method:

  1. Slice the tofu in thick slabs
  2. Mix lemon juice, minced garlic, chili powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl and the tofu with the marinade. Cover the plate with plastic wrap, and marinate tofu in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Place wooden skewers through the tofu and grill it on tawa or griller, till it turns golden brown.
  4. Now heat the pan and put olive oil, then put onion and saute till golden brown.
  5. Add the remaining vegetables and saute. 
  6. Take out the sauteed vegetables in a bowl and serve with grilled tofu.
