Saute Green Beans with Sesame Seeds + Carrot Lettuce Salad

Saute Green beans with Sesame seeds

Time of Preparation:  10 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. French Beans 100 g
  2. Mustard seeds 2 g
  3. Curry Leaves 7-8 in number
  4. Onions 50 g
  5. Garlic 2 cloves
  6. Rice Bran Oil 5 g
  7. Red Chillies 2
  8. Black Pepper 2 whole
  9. Jeera 2 g
  10. Coriander Leaves 10 g
  11. Turmeric 2 g
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Sesame Seeds 2 g

 

Method:

  1. Wash & Chop the beans diagonally to 1 inch and keep it aside.
  2. Dry roast chopped onion, garlic, red chilli, black pepper, coriander leaves and jeera without adding water.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai and add mustard, curry leaves and then add onions.
  4. Stir fry till the onions turn golden brown.
  5. Then add the beans, salt and turmeric and fry on medium flame for 2 mins.
  6. Add enough water to the beans to get cooked. Mix well and cook, cover with a lid in a medium flame, till the beans get cooked.
  7. After the beans get cooked, fry till water evaporates completely and the curry should be dry.

Carrot Lettuce Salad

Time of Preparation:  5 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Carrots: 50 g
  2. Lettuce: 50 g
  3. Black pepper powder: 2 g

 

Method:

  1. Wash and peel the carrots and lettuce. 
  2. Now add both the vegetables in a bowl and sprinkle black pepper over it.
  3. Mix well and serve
