Grilled Paneer

Time of Preparation:  10 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. Paneer 100 g
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Turmeric powder 2 g
  4. Red chilli powder 2 g
  5. Tomato puree 10 g
  6. Rice bran Oil 5 g

Method:

  1. Cut paneer into desired shape and size. Drain out the water completely.
  2. In a bowl, mix salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and tomato puree. Apply marinade evenly on both sides of the paneer pieces and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tsp oil in a grill pan. Arrange marinated paneer slices and grill on a medium heat, until golden colour on both the sides (approximate grilling time is 7 minutes for each side).
  4. Serve hot with green chutney / fresh salad or serve as a side dish with rotis / pulao.
